Credits & Billing

UltraCoder uses a prepaid credit system for the managed UltraSafe AI provider. Credits are deducted per AI request based on the model and token usage. You can top up at any time from the dashboard.

Checking your balance

Your current balance appears on the Dashboard home as an animated number. It also updates automatically in the IDE after each request — the AI panel fires a balance update event that the dashboard listens for.

Adding credits

From the dashboard home or the Account → Credits tab:

1. Choose a preset amount: $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500 — or enter a custom amount
2. Click Add Credits
3. If you have a saved payment method, the charge is attempted immediately
4. If you don't have a saved card, you're redirected to Stripe Checkout to complete payment
5. Credits appear in your balance as soon as payment succeeds

Payment methods

Add and manage saved payment methods from the dashboard. Supported card networks: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, UnionPay. To add a card:

1. Go to Dashboard → Account → Payments (or the payment methods section on the home page)
2. Click Add Card
3. Enter your card details and optional billing address
4. Save — the card is tokenized by Stripe; full card numbers are never stored

Set a card as default to enable one-click top-ups. You can remove cards at any time.

Transaction history

All top-ups and usage charges appear in the Activity feed on the dashboard home and in Account → Payments. Each entry shows the model used, token counts, and USD cost.

Organization billing

Organizations have their own credit balance shared across all members. Only the org owner can top up the org balance. See Organizations for details.
