How do I open the AI chat?
The AI panel opens automatically when UltraCoder launches. Press ⌘L (macOS) or Ctrl+L (Linux) to focus the chat input at any time.
What should I type first?
Open a project folder and type a natural-language request — for example: "Add a loading spinner to the button in App.tsx". UltraCoder reads relevant files, makes edits, and shows a diff for your review.
How do I approve or reject changes?
Each tool use (file edit, terminal command) shows a confirmation step in the chat. Click Accept to apply the change or Reject to skip it. Enable Auto-approve in Settings to skip confirmations for trusted tools.
How do I change the AI model?
Click the model selector at the bottom of the chat panel. UltraSafe AI (usf-mini-x1) is the default and needs no API key. To use Anthropic, OpenAI, or other providers go to Settings → Providers and enter your key.
