Introduction to UltraCoder
UltraCoder is an AI-first desktop code editor built for developers who want an intelligent coding partner, not just autocomplete.
What is UltraCoder?
UltraCoder is a full desktop code editor with a deeply integrated AI assistant. The AI panel lives in the right sidebar and can read your codebase, edit files, run terminal commands, and browse the web — all in response to plain-language prompts.
What is the AI panel?
The AI panel is the main chat interface. It supports five modes (Code, Architect, Ask, Debug, Orchestrator), inline file references via @mentions, image attachments, and a full task history so you can resume previous sessions.
What is the web dashboard?
The dashboard at ultracoder.us.inc lets you manage credits, billing, organizations, and team members. Credits purchased on the dashboard are consumed by the IDE when you use managed AI providers.
Which platforms are supported?
UltraCoder currently runs on macOS (Apple Silicon). Windows and Linux builds are in active development and will be released soon.
