Credits power your usage of managed AI providers in UltraCoder.
What are credits?
Credits are the currency for managed AI usage. When you use a managed provider (like UltraSafe AI) without your own API key, credits are deducted based on the number of tokens processed.
How do I top up credits?
Go to Dashboard → Billing → Top Up. Enter an amount and pay via Stripe. Credits are added to your account instantly.
How is usage calculated?
Usage is calculated per token (input + output). The IDE tracks token counts from each AI response and records a transaction. View transaction history in Dashboard → Billing → Transactions.
Can I use my own API key to avoid credits?
Yes. Add your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or other provider key in Settings → Providers. Requests using your own key bypass the managed proxy entirely and are billed directly by the provider.
